Chato’s Canteen located in my Hometown

After a long walk going around the City of Santa Rosa me and my buddy was looking for a simple but a good place to take a break and find a place to eat, where a special menu is to offer.

You don’t need to dine in some luxury and expensive restaurant to feel the presence of Santa Rosa City. If you are looking for traditional menu, especially if you are Pancit lover and you want to taste the best halo-halo in town. Chato’s Canteen is the best spot to dine, in a very affordable price and quality taste.

It was located along highway of Vallero Street; and it’s normally a small simple but cozy canteen where many of Rosanian citizens (People who live in Santa Rosa) and tourist patronize their menu.

Chato’s Canteen was actually making their own noodles which are nothing to compare to the common noodles that we can able to buy in any groceries store. But the cooking process is almost the same way how we make Pancit. The only thing is they kept their secret why the Pancit they had is unusual and competitive to other restaurant or fastfood offering the same Menu. No wonder why they have many costumers every day. 

Their Pancit was actually tasty and nothing much oil. Vegetables are fresh with toppings of crispy chicharon, slices boiled egg and slices of lechon kawali. The noodles was actually fairly cook and tasty. Thumbs up for me and I enjoy this simple meal.

Now time to taste and enjoy the most famous dessert they had. The appetizing sweet halo-halo is my most favorite of all the time. If you love sweetness and chill, because of the hot temperature and wanting to cool down, halo-halo will pamper you. From the crashed ice to the sweetest overload of their homemade ice cream as a topping it’s so bursting. You will definitely need to try and taste this and you will find it out why is it tasty too far from other commercializes halo-halo.

It’s a pleasant experience tasting the Pancit and Halo-halo while enjoying your time at Chato’s Canteen. Having a nice chitchat, pampering yourself to dine and enjoying the taste of their special menu were totally awesome.

And the most matter is you don’t need to cost much but enjoy the quality taste of the food and fulfill your hungry tummy and have fun.

If you’re about to visit and go around the Santa Rosa City take some time to dine. Chato’s Canteen is well known so it’s very easy to find. They are actually open every Tuesday to Sunday except Monday from 8am to 7pm.
