LAC Feeding Program and School Supplies Donation at Magsaysay San Pedro Laguna

Today is another day of giving and sharing love. The exciting part is to meet, greet another bunch of kids and be part of another feeding program conducted by LAC community but this time is about school supplies donation.

The aim of the project was actually to educate kids how important the education and inspire them to pursue their dream. In every single notebook and pencil that we can give in one kid can able to lead them to love writing and draw their future. Nurture their mind to keep studying and gain knowledge in school.

From my home it only takes 40minutes to reach the venue for feeding program located at Barangay Magsaysay, San Pedro Laguna. (Including the traffic).

No doubt to join for this precious activity.

I already have my few notebooks and pencil with me that ready to donate same as my fellow volunteer. When I arrived on the place our team are totally started to do their duties. Some of them are busy making the macaroni soup that will served later on for kids. Others are preparing the notebooks and pencil with flashlights, eraser and pencil sharpener. Organize the things so we can able to give the notebooks without any problem.

I never expect that I will do my role to be the host to entertain the kids and their parents while sitting and waiting for the food to serve and notebook giving.

Challenge accepted! Of course it’s really fun to take my time sharing my talent to entertain them, start with fun games, enjoying music played with our Dj and make them laugh with few jokes but in good humor.

Like what I said when you hear these innocent kids giggling and laughing for me is like a sweet harmony in my ears.

And I was so very thankful for being part of this because it always remind me how fortunate I’ am in my life. How I’m bless as well giving my time to share for them and learn many things even if it’s tiring. It’s really worth for.

I want to thank as well John the founder of this community to pursue this activity and I really appreciate all the effort he made. Even the other fellow volunteer who made this thing successful thank you guys for all you’ve done. For the assistance, joining the kids to play around and guide them.

From the government official staff to respectable Barangay Captain for allowing us to use the covered court. And accommodations of volunteer for securing our personal belongings thank you so much. I’m sending my gratitude to all of you.

Another day of understanding and let me feel the meaning of UNITY.

It’s really amazing how it feels to see kids wearing their smile and being so thankful for what they have even in small things. I really hoping and wish that all these kids will be bless and inspire to treasure and value the education as a core and source of their strength when they grow old to achieve their goal in LIFE.

I considered this day as a wonderful journey and fruitful day to let myself to travel because of love, care and value of giving. Find a place where the positivity lift me up and forget the negative things in my life.

These kids are totally awesome and I really enjoy spending my time with them.

International LAW Humanitarian Photo Exhibit

This August 17 to 21 2015 is a week for Humanitarian Photo Exhibit in SM Mall located at Santa Rosa City. Of course it’s my beloved hometown. The Red Cross Organization Laguna Chapter conduct this showcase  about violence, poverty, medical mission coverage, act of kindness, war and disaster made by nature.

And the entire pictures captured by great photographers/journalist are truly amazing. 

“Photographer is like a messenger” the photos they captured regards reality sent us a strong message.

Its very eye and mind opening to see this amazing exhibit and witness the images that truly speak a thousand words of what happen in many countries especially the tragic happen in Philippines. The devastation made of typhoon Haiyan (International Name), typhoon Yolanda as local name, happened last November 2013.

The aim of this event is to inspire us and also to share positive points of view despite of terrible things happen across the world. It’s also talk about Humanity. And for me it’s a good reminder for us that each anyone of us as an individual can help to anyone who needs helping hands. 

The true hero is our kind heart that willing to help and care to others. And that is the power of kindness.
Even though good things in this world started to fade because of too many bad influences, source of horrific activities, few good figure is lessen that should appreciate by youth and scandalous issue spread out. We should keep to our self that kindness is important and share to other what exactly good things can do more if we stick and keep doing it.

These few photos are truly evidence that there is still good in this world and no one can able to stop for a heart that willing to understand, show love and care and most of all is to help.

And I really enjoyed being here yet I also learn and gain knowledge. Inspire with those ordinary people that share their dedication and love because they care about other people, nature, animals and everything in this whole wide world.

 It reminds me the beauty and kindness of a very well known missionary kind hearted woman Mother Teresa.

“Not all of us can do great things, but we can do small things with great LOVE.” - Mother Teresa –

And it’s really so true we often forgot to spend our time in sensible matter because we are too much asking about things we don’t have. Such material things we want to have, being so busy with our gadgets, most of the time many young people absorb their self in social media and forgot the environment. 

They adore wrong figure because it’s funny in which they should rather adore the people who made good things because they help and trying their best to put an effort for community.

To all whom those visit this exhibit feels bless that you witness and learn about kindness. Not just only this kind of exhibit but also to other places who conduct the same showcase. 

At this point it feels like I travel some places according to the photos I seen. My heart really appreciates all the good things that made by people behind of organization who sent their help, inspire many being a volunteer and show how truly important the word compassion. 

That’s why I really enjoy making time and joining being a volunteer even in small feeding program and events that aim to help children and inspire them. Because the good heart can always travel and spread LOVE.
