LAC-king tulong sa Mag-aaral Charity Program April 2016

Today is another exciting Charity Program helping 100 resident kids of my beloved hometown Santa Rosa City of Laguna located at Brgy. Sinalhan.  LAC – Laguna Achievers Club Community conducting this charity program to give notebooks, pencil and crayons for every individual kids and inspire them to get ready for schooling this coming June.

This is my 2nd time around attending this kind of activity campaign for School Project, giving notebooks, pencil and crayons for kids.  Mostly the resident in this area are big numbers of family. Some of them are having 6 to 8 kids in which every parent cannot able to sustain their children’s need. From medicine care, school needs, food supply and financial support. Brgy Sinalhan is one of the most populated Barangay (Village) in Santa Rosa City, people living here earn money by fishing since it’s near in lake or we called it Laguna De Bay, agriculture and local services.

I’m glad that one of our Barangay has a chance to have this opportunity that every single kid will be given a school material.  The aim of this project is to help unfortunate families to at least lessen their cost to buy school materials for their kids this coming June for the opening of school classes.

The Founder of LAC organize this charity program with the help of every members, administrator of the community, contributions from other organizations and ordinary people who sent their material donation. And of course I probably glad to share notebooks and my time and labor of love as a host to meet and entertain these young kids and their parents.

I also invite other volunteers from other organizations and those who want to be part of this incredible charity activity.

Not everyone is fortunate to have notebook, I remember when I watch a documentary show talk about a remote area in a very far mountain in my country Philippines. A story of aspiring little girl want to study, learn and change her journey in life.

Due to poverty and lack of financial support this unfortunate little girl cannot have a piece of notebook or a paper instead she used a piece of leaf to write her notes. I wish many people realize that still, there are so many story like this are truly heart captivating and such a good reminders how fortunate we are.

Education is truly important and precious treasure in every human kind. It’s necessary that every young kid learn academically and it’s their right to educate to pursue and follow their dreams. There are futures of our world and we need to pay attention and give love to them.

Every single kid will receive a 3pcs of notebook with 3 pencils and a box of crayon. And gladly we can able to provide this school materials for 119 kids, in which it’s supposed to be 100 only. We also conduct some few games to entertain them and few prizes. We encourage every kid to value and cultivate their talents and briefly explain how truly important the education with their young mind.

Aside from game activity we also have foods for the kids prepare by our food committee as part of the feeding program.

And Mega Sardines Global Company gives us boxes of sardines in can that will be given for every parent of each kid. Thank you so much for this wonderful contribution for helping and making this Charity program possible.

It’s totally delighted to see people smile and feel thankful receiving this kind of blessing. And we volunteers being thankful as well for letting us grow and understand the value of helping and giving. And the feeling is priceless.

The kids totally enjoy and have fun and we are so very thankful for this successful LAC Charity Event for year 2016. And I still look forward to keep doing volunteerism and share my time, effort, love and care with other people.

Bumblebee Snack Haus

After visiting the Shrine of St. Peregrine and go around in this sacred Church along Muntinlupa Alabang. I guess we deserve me and my friend Jen to go somewhere new and to find affordable place where we can enjoy ordering some meal. 

Anyone here love Bumblebee? Who doesn’t even know this great character since it was cartoon till it became a Movie. Transformers are well known and very entertaining movie. But how come it was related on our topic today?

Aside from left to right coffee shops, tea house and ice cream café. Burger restaurant are also started to boost up and seen everywhere.

Now it’s about a combination of a very entertaining concept of a burger small eatery where you can find a lot of Bumblebee Character and paraphernalia.  Sounds interesting right? 

A lot of Filipino is creative and business minded entering food industry. So I decided to make a quick drop and visit the place so I can able to witness and enjoy the ambiance literally and dine in with this new open Burger eatery way back on the 1st of the April 2016.

Not far from the place we went me and my friend Jen visit the “Bumblebee Snack House” located at B-2A L-6A Ph-3D Athletic Drive Pacita Complex1, San Francisco Binan Laguna. Or easily just say to the tricycle driver to bring you in Infant Jesus Montessori Center once you already at the Pacita Complex.

 
And this place is exactly in the front of the School I mention.

So here we go and let’s explore.

The place obviously builds in the garage area of the simple house of the business owner. So expect that the place is not a huge as a common eatery that we often think or we dine in. And I guess this is a practical way of building a business without any too much cost of renting commercial space specially when you’re about to open a food business.

No worries because for sure you will definitely find out that the meal or food they offer is very affordable. And your wallet will not screaming for the expensive cost. They offer rice combo meal, some fika (either you like coffee, sandwiches, fries, juice and softdrinks). But the main food they specialize is the Burger with combination of vegetables, like cucumber, tomatoes, lettuce. And you can choose from cheesy to spicy flavor

But apparently we decided to order a simple rice meal with lemonade soda in cans. Plus 1 order of Optimus Fries for me. We are hungry sorry fellas!

The most attractive part in this place is the ambiance where obviously Bumblebee character is everywhere. You will notice from logo, tumblers, sticker, wall clock, wall frames and most of all a big print of bumblebee picture on the left wall. And yellow color totally invades the whole area.

The story behind this concept, the guy owner is a big fan and collector of Bumblebee character of Transformers Movie. And his passion reflects so much in the place that totally impresses anyone who wants to dine in to eat.

It’s very simple burger eatery but because of a very catchy and creative concept it adds lively and entertaining atmosphere. And for me it’s not just about the nice food they offer like burger but also a fun place where you can enjoy taking pictures with your friends and do many selfies.

The billiard table as they use as the center table is amusing and this remarkable thoughts “Count the memories not the Calories” is quite funny and remarkable for me, I wonder how those weight conscious people interpret it.

 I recommend this burger eatery for those who love burgers and for those fans of bumblebee that idolize this character so much you better visit and order your food. And lastly for those who considered affordable meal but quality taste it’s a must  for you to try.

 I wish you a long business journey “Bumblebee Snack House” and more food lover clients to come.

A thumbs up for this place and I will definitely love to be back again here to try the burger and bring friends.

Celebrate, Travel and Giving

At March 6, 2016 I’m turning 27, another year to gain and unknown things to come in my life whether it is a surprise or (hopefully not) bad things might happen.

After having some few educational stuff like coloring books, stickers, notebooks, drawing pad, papers, pencils, puzzles and few toys as I collected. I’m ready to share and give it to the kids on my birthday celebration. I was started to buy these things since Christmas 2015 so if I have extra money I bought few until I fill the small box.

And I’m glad I finally made it.
   
I don’t have any plan to celebrate my birthday to an expensive restaurant or make some expensive vacation. Of course I don’t have enough money to do that and my alternative option in case is to trek and climb mountains if I have chances (well I guess I will be there soon hopefully).

So I decided to make a small simple gathering with the kids who are resident of CG Brion Village of San Lucas Uno in San Pablo City. My sister’s hometown, so I can able as well to visit my little cute nephew and my beloved sister celebrating our Birthdays for this Month of March. Yes! We are March parade my birthday is 6, my nephew is 8 and my sister is 9 all in for month of March.

And I want to make my day so special in this way, being with kids and give them remarks of fun and inspiration like how their innocence mind touch my soul and heart enjoy being young.

I choose only a small group of kids so I can able to give them all. We are actually not surrounded by tarpaulin, colorful balloons, and colorful decoration in the impressive event reception. But it’s just only a simple green field backyard with few wooden chairs and simple table. While the foods are provided by my sisters that will serve for the kids once they feel hungry.

I want to make my Birthday be memorable entering my 27th and understand that it’s not always about receiving gifts but also giving. Sharing blessings and being thankful for having nice people like my small families, genuine close friends, healthy way of living and enjoying life for what we have. And learn not to demand for what we asking, dreaming or want, but to work it out by our own in a good way.

In this simple way of sharing time, smile, making effort to reach the kids, play them and giving toys are totally overwhelming. We started to play some funny games; a group dances each team and some childhood games that really make them ebullient.

I give them a short brief about being nice kids and enjoy life, educate them valuing education and always letting their selves to be a sporty type when they lose in games.

I really feel how they are so delighted getting their prizes and doing their best to win and making effort. I was surrounded by their innocent attitudes and jolly mind, their smile, loud laugh, exciting sounds and I feel young. I may not be in expensive places or rich lifestyle but I enjoy being with these kids that make my heart rich and my soul fill with inspiration. “Children are our future” let them enjoy their young life and let them play. Educate them and inspire them for being a good human by leading them for what we can able to share or offer in good ways.

They need love, they need a figure of good people to help them molded and choose to step forward reaching their maturity to be a better version of their self. And a small act of kindness, generosity that we can able to give can help them and change their life.

And this is the reason why I’m so inspired to be in field of charity by helping, by giving and by being a human with heart who understand the meaning of humanity. You don’t need to be a super hero or super human, you don’t need to be a politician to say that’s the only position you need to help people, you don’t need to use the reason that you need to be rich or famous. But being a simple and ordinary person can able to help as long as you have genuine heart willing to share love, respect, and care, moral support and value kindness.

You will never feel empty or alone if you have a huge love in your heart willing to share, if you have a broader mind that willing to understand by listening and speak out through the deepest part of your heart.

At the end of the day you will realize that making good things is truly priceless and worth to share for. Life is wonderful remember that despite of our bad times, failure and sadness. All we need to do is look for positive sides and not forgotten that were not alone but to share.

Now I’m looking forward to explore many things and wishing to join many volunteering activities for me to grow like a “garden with wonderful flowers and green plants around”.

I always want to keep share what I’ve learn and always willing to learn to different people. Keeping my ears open to listen and share what I have for wisdom and understanding about life. And gaining year or getting old is not a problem but a treasure as long as we keep collecting memories and value moments.

I’m totally happy celebrating my birthday with these kids and this moment will never be forgotten. I may just give temporary notebooks and toys that will not last long but the memories will stay as long as I live and remembered.
